Reviews and Ratings
I felt like I was in a movie setting, in a classic yet quietly luxurious hotel. The room, besides needing a bit of renovation, was well-designed with a comfortable bed and top-notch air conditioning. Though the bathroom layout was slightly awkward, it was very clean.
My stay at the hotel was truly delightful. The rooms had lovely views of the water and a little balcony to sit in, which was very nice. The garden featured a large and attractive swimming pool and a natural pond with coy carp and turtles, creating a serene atmosphere. However, the location is not suitable for walking due to the hilly terrain around.
Staying at the hotel was a delightful experience overall. The rooms in the palace wing, especially the suite on the 6th floor providing panoramic views, were very nice and offered a wonderful living area with a stocked coffee/tea bar. The staff was attentive and catered well to guests of all ages, including my 4-year-old daughter and 88-year-old mother. While the discount offer was appreciated, the absence of a manager was slightly disappointing.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and had lovely terraces overlooking the pool and gardens. However, the view from my room was not as described on the booking form. The service, including the concierge and housekeeping, was superb, making my stay very enjoyable. The location was fabulous, surrounded by major embassies, though it did require taking cabs everywhere. The dining experience was good with a great variety of food, although not up to 5-star standards.
